Bears Week 14 Injury Report: Trio of Bears Questionable as of Friday, St. Brown Out
David Reginek-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Bears are fairly healthy ahead of a Week 14 matchup with the Detroit Lions. Friday's injury report reveals that a trio of Bears are questionable for Sunday's contest, but WR Equanimeous St. Brown has been ruled out. St. Brown has been battling a pectoral injury and missed practice Thursday and Friday.

As for the trio, DL Yannick Ngakoue, and WRs Tyler Scott and Velus Jones Jr. are all questionable. Ngakoue practiced in full on Friday after limited participation on Thursday, indicating the pass rusher should suit up on Sunday. However, Scott was a limited participant on Friday and Jones Jr. did not practice at all. Both young receivers are new additions to the report on Friday.

Despite some uncertainty regarding the team's receivers, RB D'Onta Foreman, OL Larry Borom, LB Noah Sewell, and DB Tyrique Stevenson will all play on Sunday. The quartet of players graced the report on Wednesday, but all practiced enough to be cleared against the Lions.

In potential absence of three key receivers, more will be expected of the run game and players such as DJ Moore, Darnell Mooney, and Cole Kmet. With Foreman healthy, the Bears can have a three-headed monster between the former Texas Longhorn, Khalil Herbert, and another former Longhorn in Roschon Johnson. Perhaps the Bears can pound the rock on their way to a surprising victory.

What's On Tap Next?

The Bears will host the Lions on Sunday at Soldier Field. Kickoff is slated for noon CT. The Bears will either improve their chances of remaining "in the hunt" for a playoff position or the Lions will take a tighter grasp on the NFC North and send the Bears closer to two top 5 picks in April's NFL Draft.
